The Carnival Conquest, the first of its class, has 1,492 rooms to comfortably accommodate up to 2,984 guests, making the ship’s total guest capacity 3,581. A crew of 1,150 people ensures everyone has a great time. There are 13 decks for passengers, and 8 have rooms where guests stay.
There are 22 bars and lounges, 4 pools, and 7 hot tubs to relax and have fun. If you need to get around the ship, there are 18 elevators to easily move across the decks.
Looking at the types of rooms, there are 54 Suites, 521 Balcony rooms, 344 Oceanviews, and 577 Inside cabins. There are laundry rooms on every deck with cabins. They’re filled with a couple of washing machines and dryers, an iron and ironing board. If you prefer someone else to do your laundry, ask your cabin steward. This valet service charges for each piece of clothing, with prices ranging from $2 to $10.50.
Deck By Deck Analysis
All of the rooms, activities, rest areas, and relaxation areas on the Carnival Conquest deck plan are designed to add comfort and make lifelong memories.
Deck 1 – Riviera
The Riviera Deck includes Inside and Oceanview cabins. Below on deck 0 is the Medical Center, staffed 24/7 with doctors and nurses. The center has essential medical equipment and offers paid services like doctor’s visits, tests, and medications; Bonine for seasickness is free at Reception.
Deck 2 – Main
The Main Deck of Carnival Conquest has a mix of accommodation options to cater to diverse preferences. There are Inside cabins and Oceanview staterooms, allowing visitors to enjoy the serene view.
Deck 3 – Lobby
The Toulouse-Latrec Theatre hosts shows, movies, and games. The Atrium has live music and the Seven Seas Bar. Guest Services and Shore Excursions offer help and booking. Cassat Card Room seats 28, and the Pissaro Gallery sells art. The galley’s Chef’s Table charges $75 for a special meal with wine. Reservations needed. Dress formally. Renoir and Monet Dining Rooms offer free meals, with breakfast, brunch, and tea time on sea days, and dinner every night. Menus vary with options like “American Table” and chargeable “Green Eggs and Ham Breakfast.” Enjoy comedy shows at brunch and live music at formal dinners.
Deck 4 – Atlantic-Teens
On level 2 of the Toulouse-Latrec Theater are live performances, while the adjacent Painters Library offers 17 seats for reading and board games. Picture enthusiasts can visit the Photo Gallery & Shop for services and gear. Young teens enjoy Circle C’s video games and activities. Dine with art at Renoir Restaurant, hold meetings in the Gallery Conference Room, and stay connected at the 24-hour Internet Café. Alfred’s Bar features jazz and the Monet Restaurant serves meals with a view. For safety, the ship is equipped with service boats, including 24 lifeboats and 36 life rafts.
Deck 5 – Promenade
The Toulouse-Latrec Theater, Fun Shops, and Cherry on Top offer a variety of shopping, from duty-free to sweets, while the EA Sports Bar provides drinks and live sports. Tahiti Casino is great for those feeling lucky with its array of games, and Impressionist Boulevard Promenade Bar is a good spot to relax.
Cafe Fans serves affordable coffee and desserts, while Club O2 offers fun for teens, and the Video Arcade has games for all ages with an extra fee. Sushi Japonaise provides free sushi in the evenings, and Taste Bar lets guests try various small dishes for free. The Alchemy Bar offers unique cocktails, and there are several places to enjoy live music and dance, like Henri’s Disco, Blues Bar, Vincent’s Bar, and Degas Lounge.
Deck 6 – Upper
You’ll find a variety of inside cabins, balcony staterooms, aft extended balcony, and premium rooms on deck 6.
Deck 7 – Empress
The Empress Deck on the cruise ship has a mix of inside cabins and balcony rooms with stunning views.
Deck 8 – Verandah
The Navigation Bridge, also known as the Wheelhouse, along with the Captain’s Suite and the living quarters for other officers, are not open to those on the cruise. The cabins on the Verandah Deck are inside and balcony rooms.
Deck 9 – Lido
On Carnival cruises, you’ve got Guy’s Burger Joint with free lunch and dinner, RedFrog Rum Bar for Caribbean drinks, BlueIguana Tequila Bar for Mexican beverages, and BlueIguana Cantina for no-charge Mexican eats. Cezanne Lido Restaurant serves buffet-style meals, while Seafood Shack offers sea dishes at a cost. “Sushi at Sea” offers affordable rolls and sushi, buying fresh items from local markets during the cruise.
Carnival Deli serves free sandwiches and beer, while Pizzeria del Capitano offers 24-hour fresh pizza and salad. Fish N’ Chips offers various seafood dishes, and Comfort Kitchen changes its menu daily with comfort foods. Lido Cafe provides coffee and treats, doubling as a bistro in the evening. The Sky Pool area has a pool, and hot tubs, and is open to families. Stateroom options include inside rooms, ocean views, balconies, and suites.
Deck 10 – Panorama
This is level 2 of the Cezanne Buffet serving delicious seafood including Fish & Chips. Enjoy outdoor movies and shows at the Carnival Seaside Theatre. For a fancy dinner, head to The Point Steakhouse between 6 and 9:30 pm. For $35, you get a three-course meal. They have a smart yet relaxed dress code, even jeans are fine.
Deck 11 – Spa
The Carnival Spa and Fitness Center in the Carnival Conquest deck plan is a gym with modern equipment, a variety of fitness classes, and a salon offering treatments like massages and facials with Elemis products. Services include personal training, nutritional advice, body sculpting boot camp, and yoga. Specialised services like teenage spa treatments and health seminars are also available. The spa provides luxurious options such as acupressure, aroma therapy, and a range of beauty treatments at different prices.
The Carnival Spa offers various treatments like acupuncture, cosmetic procedures, dermal fillers, and wrinkle treatments, all performed by a certified doctor on board. They also have special ZSPA services for teens, featuring massages, facials, and beauty treatments, with adult supervision required for booking. The Sports Deck has courts for basketball and other games, a jogging track, and the fleet’s first Pickleball Court. Lastly, the Spa Deck has 22 Spa Balcony cabins.
Deck 12 – Sun
Camp Ocean, Carnival’s nautical-themed youth camp, is a fun spot for kids divided by age: Penguins (2-5), Stingrays (6-8), and Sharks (9-11). Alongside flexible hours on sea and port days, the camp offers dinner and over 200 activities, like arts and crafts at Creative Cove. They even have special workshops, such as Build-A-Bear, benefiting St. Jude Hospital. Families can rent beepers or strollers, and kids under 5 get them free.
Camp Ocean offers fun zones for kids; Stingrays (6-8 years) and Sharks (9-11 years) can play video games, do crafts, and enjoy themed parties. ‘Night Owls’ babysits for $6.75 per hour and entertains kids with games and movies. Carnival also organises special parties like ‘Owl Jams’ and ‘Fun At Sea’ for a small charge. Grown-ups can chill at Serenity Deck with whirlpools and a bar, all free except the beverages.
Deck 14 – Serenity
The Serenity Deck is a peaceful adult area with two big Jacuzzis and a sunbathing space with comfy hammocks and chairs, all free to use. You can enjoy it anytime, but the hot tubs and Serenity Bar are only open from 8 am to 10 pm. Up on Sky Deck, you’ll find the entrance to the exciting Twister Waterslide, operating from 10 am to 5 pm, splashing down into the Sun pool on Deck 9.

Carnival Deli: Find classic American deli sandwiches—turkey, tuna, pastrami, Reuben— at a hot dog stand, from 11 AM to 11 PM, port side at Cezanne. Perfect for quick, tasty bites.
Fish N’ Chips: Quick spot for classic fish and chips with tasty dips like tartar sauce. Find it upstairs in Cezanne, open for lunch until 3:30 p.m. Popular on USA cruises.
Pizza Pirate (24/7): Find it near the Sky Pool for fresh pizza slices like cheese or pepperoni. Always expect a short wait due to its popularity.
Swirls: Grab an ice cream or yogurt any time at three stations on Deck 9 by Guy’s Burgers, BlueIguana, and the Sky Pool. Open all day, every day for cruise guests.
Guy’s Burger Joint (Deck 9): Enjoy juicy burgers at Guy Fieri’s spot on Carnival cruises. Toppings galore, fast-moving lines, and veggie options are available. Open daily, noon to 6 p.m.
BlueIguana Cantina (Deck 9): Quick spot for delicious tacos and burritos with tons of toppings. Perfect for a tasty breakfast or lunch. Check times; usually open 7:30-10:30 a.m., noon-2:30 p.m.
Sushi at Sea (Deck 9, aft): Get fresh sushi or sashimi and rolls. Begins at $2. Order, take a pager, and wait to be alerted when it’s ready to enjoy.
The Chef’s Table ($75): A special meal on Carnival ships, including a galley tour with the chef, wine, and a fancy several-course dinner. Limited space, offered 1-3 times each cruise.
Green Eggs and Ham Breakfast (Deck 3); $6: Enjoy a one-time Dr. Seuss-themed breakfast per cruise with character photos, whimsical decor, and a simple menu featuring colourful, Seussian dishes.
