Adventure of the seas deck 13, the Sports Deck of the Adventure of the Seas cruise ship, offers a range of exciting recreational facilities including FlowRider, Adventure Dunes, a rock climbing wall, waterslides, a sunbathing area, and a sports center complete with a mini golf course, rollerblading rink, full-size sports court, and a golf simulator.
Sun Deck
Accessible from the Spa Deck 12 stairs, the sun deck is the best place to get some sun and relax on chairs. It’s the go-to place to play different sports, a golf course (with golf simulators), a track for rollerblading, a few ping-pong tables, and even a wall for rock climbing on Adventure of the Seas Deck 13.
Rock Climbing Wall
It is a complimentary 44-foot-tall and takes up to 30 minutes. Everything you need is provided– shoes, helmets, and harnesses. Climbing contests are organized every day. If you’re 6 years old or older, you can climb. If you’re under 18, you’ll need your parent or guardian to sign a form for you. If you’re between 6 and 12, an adult has to watch you while you’re climbing.
Sports Court
The full-size Sports Court is perfect for playing basketball, volleyball, tennis, football, paddleball, and table tennis. We have group matches every day.
Adventure Dunes
Adventure Dunes is a two-floor mini golf course free to use, open all day, and comes with all the gear you need.
The Perfect Storm
This is a set of two racing waterslides, “Cyclone” and “Typhoon”, free of use.
They are on the same side as the mini-golf course and next to the FlowRider.
To get to the slides, you go up a big glass staircase that’s three stories high. There’s no age limit to go on the slides, but you have to be at least 48 inches tall and under 300 pounds.
Flowrider
Experience surfing on the Adventure of the Seas Deck 13. It shoots out fast water (between 20-30 mph) over a small area, creating stationary waves that make it feel like surfing in the ocean. This cool feature was first designed for use on land, but Royal Caribbean wants guests to enjoy surfing on the cruise ships.
FlowRider is included in your cruise price and all the equipment like bodyboards and flowboards are provided. You can also take private surfing lessons for an extra fee with groups of 6 to 8 guests.
